Long haul flights advice....

Just have a quick question about booking long haul flights. Went to book flights that a week ago were 1200, now coming in at 1800. :( I know I should have just booked them at that stage, but is there any likelihood they would drop the prices again? Not even back to the original price, but do long haul flights ever drop in price? Would I best waiting a week or so again, or booking now before they go up even further? Thanks

Change your dates by a week to 10 days this might help.

Thanks, but I've done that by almost a month either way and it has sky rocketed almost across the board. Very frustrating!

Try clearing your cookies or changing your ip. Some airlines track activity and put up prices for flights on the second visit.

Have you tried checking for your flights on www.skyscanner.net? Yo might be able to find a cheaper alternative here. Also, maybe try flying ot from the UK?

I was going through Expedia, and I've done that on three different computers, at work, home and internet cafe.

Thought it'd be worth seeing if I booked singles on SkyScanner would it be cheaper, ended up at €3500! Same with lastminute.ie. I actually tried London, through Expedia. It works out cheaper to fly from Dublin, even though there's a stopover in london, which seems a bit bizarre, but there you go. Thanks for the responses anyway!
