I'm on a learner permit and i'm just wondering if my girlfriend would be able to be my accompanying driver. She's 19 and has her full northern irish licence for a year. She doesn't know if she's allowed to be my fully licenced driver though because she can't do it for anybody in the north until she has it for 2 years and is over 21. As far as I know that doesn't apply here but I'm not fully up to date on the rules as I got in before the mandatory lessons thing started (I'm on my second LP) and didn't pay attention to the new rules.

If anybody can clarify the situation that'd be great. Preferably with links to relevant inforation I can use to reassure her it's allowed. :pac:

    Thanks
