In the mocks I got 6 B's and 5 C's would I be able to transform them into A's if I study hard until June?

It's not too late, but any projects or practical work you have already done (or are in the process of doing) will have to be excellent, to give yourself the best chance.

You will do better than you think you will.

Its not too late, bar the project stuff. 6Bs and 5Cs indicates you're far from unintelligent. But tbh I'd be reasonable, maybe try and get only one C and 5 As? :)

Study now and you will do better than not doing so.

I did my Junior Cert last year and i Have to say that it eas the best two weeks in the school I ever had! You are let leave once you are finished and you can go anywhere outside of the school and stuff!

But what I have to say is that you WILL get on better than you did in the pre's in most subjects maybe not English as that tends to stay the same or go down a grade for some reason with most people.

But just stuy the subjects and dont kill yourself cause once you get your results the teachers will say you got on good and then the day after there is no more talk about it and you will be laughing at yourself making such a big deal out of it in the first place!

But if you are doing Higher level English, Maths, Irish or a third langauge I would reccomend that you get a C or over so that you can remain in Higher level for the leaving and just remember that the Junior Cert is piss easy... wait until you get into 5th year and you will understand what 'hard' really is! :D:D:D

Yes as long as you have a study plan and you stick to it you can get what you want in June :)
Well at least i hope so :P Im in the exact same boat but I worked out a study plan with my tutor and you should do the same, and soon! :)

Cramming is usually a terrible idea. It might get you through your JC, but what about your LC and university. The JC is basically a trial run, and you should but your all into it.

Study smart and be organised. Get into good habits. They should stick with you throughout the years.

Don't be stupid and leave it to the last minute. It's better late then never, but don't leave it until the last minute.

Anyone any tips on how to get As in English,Irish and French?

English will be a tough one to bring up to an A but if you focus and do your 3 hours a night you'll do great :)

Thanks,I always get As in English ad was sure I would get one in the mocks but I ended up getting 77% How long should the answers be for each section?
Also,in Irish I really mucked up the essay :P Any idea how I could get even close to full marks without learning one off? I am vehemently opposed to rote learning :pac: Thanks

In english for the reading comps I gave an A4 page answer for each question. For the studied poetry, fiction and drama I have 3/4 a4 page for A and a full a4 page for B.The media studies, unseen drama, poetry and the like should all be an a4 page per q too.

personal writing, is that the essay thingy? .. That should be about 3 and 1/2 pages. I did 2 1/2 in the mock and did pretty well so it goes to show you need good content too, but my teacher always said to do 3 1/2

Nope doing JC this year, got A in english mock tho'.
