Anyone know if the 07> Mondeo 1.8TDCi water-pump is timing-belt driven? Car is due the timing belt change and I could save a few quid if the pump does not need to be changed, pump costing more than the timing belt kit.... Of course I would if it needs doing.

Cheers, will save a few quid then. Will get the coolant changed anyway.

in the case where its not belt driven is the pump easily accessible to be replaced without having to touch the tb? just a case of taking of tb cover?

I think you can remove the engine mount and the timing belt cover and you should get at it. Its been a while since I done one.
