repairing plaster

    hi guys i wonder if anyone has had this type of problem before.
    i have started to wallpaper and paint. i was taking down the old datarail.
    some of the plaster came with it

    question is do i just plaster the hole as some of the plaster is still hanging with the help of the wallpaper that is up
    i have taken a few photos to show what i am talking bout

    any plaster thats loose take it down....them re skim it(if you can) just wet the patch before you skim....
