Anyone with a tt/tri frame know about frame size fitting?

Im thinking because youre stretched so far over the front wheel that you would ride a smaller frame?

I ride a 56 on the road, would I be looking at a 52/54 or do they just go for a 56?

    thanks

Most people go a size smaller on a tt frame.

    I'm 6'2" and ride a 56 road bike but a 54 TT frame.

Before i bought a TT bike, i fitted clip ons to the road bike but it was almost unrideable without a much shorter stem.
I was too streched out and after a few mins, my shoulders and back would be killing me.

Theres a good article on TT bike fit here thats worth a read.
