Hi, have a 08 Citroen Dispatch and clutch feels funny. 75,000 km on clock. Over the last few days it seems like clutch is slipping when I accelerate in 2nd. No power and increased revs.

Other thing I noticed when driving is very slight tip of foot on clutch pedal release clutch. As in if im accelerating but rest my foot on clutch pedal revs go up and i feel it releasing. Does this sound like a clutch burned out or mis-adjusted??

The revs increasing and no movement would be the signs of the clutch going. There actually not to bad to do on that van but best to have a good mechanic have a look and a quick check of it to make sure thats what it is....

If memory serves me correct I think there about 195 plus the dreaded vat

They're not that easy on the dispatch. The gearbox won't come down without removing the subframe.
All depending whether its a 1.6 or a 2.0. the 2.0 will have a dual mass flywheel the 1.6 will not. The dual mass flywheel will add to repair costs if it has failed also. Which will be most likely.

Hi, are you sure about having to remove the subframe to take out the gearbox? If the drivers side engine mount was slackened off & the engine moved over closer to the wing, would the gearbox have enough room to slide out through the subframe?
