For the money he spent in the Summer bringing Sanchez and Fabregas in, and for the wages he has his players on (one of the highest for a club in world sport), is this failure?

I can't see Guardiola continuing at Madrid much longer, with Dortmund clinching the title and the big money signings like Andy Carroll and Jimmy Bullard not living up to standards his positon is surely untenable at this point.

I just knew there would a thread like this so let's just recap a second.
They're second in La Liga. (No shame there.)
They're the top four in Europe.(No shame there.)
They're in the Copa Del Rey Final. (No shame there.)
And they've played more competitive football matches than any other team for the last four years running.

Not to mention that they've thirteen trophies in the 3 years. But, yeah they're finished, utterly utterly finished.
