The awkward moment when you delete your spin from your GPS before you upload it!

Just done rathmines - Sally Gap - Laragh - Shay Elliott from both sides - Wicklow Gap - Ballyknockan - Brittas - Rathmines (120km and 1900m) in ~5:30 and managed to delete it from my Bryton Rider before uploading it to brytonsport or strava, fck my life!

On the plus side, some absolute stunner in a porsche 911 c4s approached me for directions outside the coffee shop in Laragh before she tore it up towards the Sally Gap, to say I was weak at the knees was an understatement. I think I'm in love! :pac:

We don't believe you. If it ain't on Strava then you didn't do it. Also, one is no longer permitted to speak of attractive women in such a manner. Apparently, it offends others by degrading them, etc...

I suppose you won the lottery and then beat Cav, Kelly and Cippolini in a spint on the way home too.....

Surprisingly they WERE all out on a spin in Wicklow, but I didn't go for the sprint, I was on a recovery ride and didn't feel like throwing my bottles away...

    I believe you. Honest.

It's as plausible as someone doing Kilmashogue 9 nine times in a row.

Cash in a Brown Envelope please.

I've done it 3 times in a row. More than enough.

Is that so? We may have crossed paths out there in that case! It's cool, I'll just get out and do it again another time, but thanks for the offer :)

It is but I have to do it if I want to survive the Pyrenees. Are you doing the one in Drogheda or in Wexford?

Similar thing happened me, my strava android app crashed and I can't get the ride to upload. Weird I also went up Shay Elliot for the first time both sides.

Was that porsche you saw purple? Think I saw it coming towards me on the road into Stepaside on the way back. Didn't see the stunner though :(.

Pissed with strava, its the second time its happened me always on my longest rides .

When you uploaded it did it give you the number of the 'stunner in the Porsche'?

Or did you just hallucinate that bit?

    :D

I certainly did not hallucinate that bit, that's one for the memory bank ;)

Wish it'd give me her number....strava isn't that good unfortunately...

Much worse is when you are out and about and in an attempt to free up some card space delete 3,000 photos.
