    so, ive just past my driving test and im looking for a small car with an automatic transmisson, all the brand new ones are wwwaaayyy out of my budget range so any suggestions on where is doing the best deals.

    So what is your budget? And what kind of driving do you do? Do you need a large car? What kind of mileage do you cover? Petrol Diesel?

    well at the moment my budget aint huge.... the most i can do is three grand.. Automatic Transmission, Small car eg.golf petrol or diesel

    go on donedeal.ie or autotrader.ie ,there should be plenty of cars in your price range there.

    It would be hard to beat a diesel golf. But to be honest you will be seriously restricted by the automatic tranmission. It's not America...

    There are plenty of cars out there that are just as capable as a diesel Golf. You would swear they were some sort of super car the way some people talk them up.

    thanks guys! @David. unfortunately due to illness my coordination is shot so automatic is the better option
