Galaxy S2 problem

Hi I got my S2 on Wednesday from o2 and updated to ICS same day via KIES.
On Wed night the phone was working great I left it for a while and when I came back to unlock it it would not respond so I plugged it in thinking it died but 10 mins later I tried turning it on and nothing happened.
I removed the battery and it was fine until today when it did it again...any ideas? I really don't need this to become a regular occurence. Could it be something I'm doing wrong or an app or something?
Typing from the phone so excuse any mistakes. Joe.

Edit: The WiFi also freezes at times and requires me to tirn on Flight mode to reset it. Are these problems normal or is the device faulty?

If device won't wake up and needs hard reset then this is because it has crashed and needs reboot. Could be an app conflicting with the new update, could also be faulty device. Try reset to factory default, if it still acts up then get it replaced.

Reset the phone. I really hope it was just an app and if not it happens again so I can still get a replacement...thanks srsly78.
