I have setup a Twitter account to automatically tweet any Emergency Squawk 7700 codes I receives via my SBS-1er

    The Twitter account is @AirwavesIreland

Obviously I need a 7700 code to test the system but it should work fine.
Coverage should be the same as my online tracker http://www.airwavesireland.com/index.php/realtime-maps/mode-s-flight-tracker

    Enjoy

    Mac

If I'm ever unlucky enough to have to set 7700 in the box, I'll be sure glad to know someone is "enjoying" it!

Very sad way to get your kicks and enjoyment out of someone elses misfortune, but I suppose thare are all types out there, plus if your first with the bad news you can probably make a few bob out of it as well. ENJOY .

I think its a good and interesting service and hardly say people are getting a kick out of knowing a plane has an emergency more curiosty. If people find this bad I hope the never read the aviation herald website :D

Its meant to aid people who are interested in listening to aircraft comms, and to give them advance notice of events around Ireland.
My "enjoy" comment was regards the website in general. ;)

Dont worry, I had a fair idea that it was only an unfortunate choice of words!

    Good luck with the site!
