i.e. you play for your team in the C champo and they get knocked out then in the next round you play for the A champo team.

Is it the same club? If so then the answer is yes, but if you play for your clubs first team you cannot play for your second team in the championship.

That's the way it is here in Kildare, it could be different in other counties.

I'd say its fairly the same in other counties, you can play up a grade, but cannot play down a grade in the same club

Correct. I have done this before, I played on the B team but the A team were short a few players for a game and I filled in.

In Galway anyway if you play a higher grade one season you cannot play a lower grade the next season either. Unless you are re-graded

I.e if you play senior championship (first team) for your club in 2012 you cannot play for the same clubs second/third team the year after.

Its the same all over. If it was not this way, it would make a farse of some competitions as they get closer to when silverwear is handed out.

just to add to what others have already said.

If you play C championship and win and then play A championship, you cannot play the second round of the C championship.
