Galaxy Nexus won't boot up fully

    Hey,
My Galaxy Nexus won't boot up fully - it's stock, haven't rooted or unlocked or anything. The loading animation stays for about 15 seconds, then the screen goes blank and the Google logo reappears, followed by the loading animation. Repeat.

I've tried booting in to the recovery mode holding down the volume buttons + power button - when I hit the recovery option the screen goes to a pic of the android robot lying down on the ground with a red triangle.

So I'm lost...do I have to return it to Meteor?

    Many thanks for any help.

Not sure whats wrong with it tbh.

Did you try pulling the battery for a few minutes?

I had the same problem trying to install 4.04 OTA Update and had to pull the battery to get it to boot properly again cos that red triangle screen came up.

Would doing this void the warranty at all? I went in to the shop today and they said it'd take 5-10 business days, which is okay. I'd rather take the safe route with this rather than risking it.

    no idea tbh

I dont think it will as you are just reloading the OS as it was originally pretty much as far as I can tell

For me been without my phone for that length of time would be really annoying especially as I have no other phone and would have to reply on whatever phone Meteor phone would give me on loan which would probably be crap especially as I never bought the Nexus through them and am only on a 30 day contract. But do whatever you are happiest with

I think that if you do this they will say it is water damaged. which it won't be, but MPRC seem to think that this is the case with everything.
