    That is not the same thing at all. That is just like the EU computer driving license course that was doing the rounds 10 years ago.

    I would also be interested in a Java script course even as in introduction.

    You can't really compare a stanford (one of the most prestigious tech colleges in the world) course in computer science basics with the ECDL. The ECDL was/is a worthless MS office shilling exercise.

    If you particularly want to learn javascipt, learn javascript. There are dozens of very decent tutorials online.
