    Hey lads..

Was slowly picking the game up and by all means doing ok (for a beginner) I went out to the driving range tonight to practice 60 degree wedge S Wedge P wedge just fir distance control and short chipping but pulled every shot bar a lucky few to the right ( I'm a lefty ) so I was wondering if anybody could kindly recommend a good instructor in the Dublin area to help get me back on track..
    Thanks lads

Hi Gmpd, I'd recommend Michelle Carroll in Celbridge but I know its a bit far for you. There are lots of good pro's around and am sure there are some closer to you than Celbridge.

    Cheers lads

Had a lesson off Kevin beirth last Saturday.. Just the half hour and cost me €25 plus I'd to get my own balls so call it €31 in total. I know opinion on him as an instructor on boards is divided but gave it a go just to see for myself and was very impressed with the lesson.. Came out with a solution for my pulled shots to the right and straighten up my drives quiet a bit as wcarey will tell you had a sometimes huge slice.. All in all was very happy and will defo be using him again

Glad you got your lesson and it was a positive experience. I've still to book my next one but havent been out in a while now so have to get out once I can get some time cleared. At least your pulled shots went straight unlike when my slice kicks in....
