    Hi all,

Looking to buy a new laptop with a budget of max €450
It'll be used for Microsoft office, playing older games like generals, warcraft 3 etc.

    Must be 14" or less
    Any ideas?

14" or less for 450 yoyos? You'de be looking at a netbook, might just about play WC3.

You'll get a mainstream 2nd gen Core i3 laptop with a 15.6" display for that money alright... but anything smaller involves a hefty "mobility" premium.

There's a Fujitsu AH530 Lifebook 15.6’ Laptop on www.sendit.com for €387.49. Have a look, it might suit you.

There are 2 13.3" laptops at komplett: a ASUS (Pentium B960) and a MSI (AMD E450) for 530 Euro, both crappy CPUs and no DVD drive.

The Dell Inspiron 14z would suit your requirements, 14" display, Core i3 CPU and a DVD drive for €569.

Well, I haven't noticed that, I'll blame my mobile phone and lack of translating software. :)
