from bronze to silver

hey all

I only recently started playing starcraft, my mmr is now matching me with silvers and gold players but I'm still in bronze and I get trashed most of the time against higher level players, was just wondering do you guys have any tips about the transition from bronze to silver and above? I play as Terran.

I have a few replays in particular I would really appreciate someone have a look at.

1 or 2 base timing pushes, just get marine, maruaders and medivacs and try to kill them early on.

My advice having made it to silver is just concentrate on making your build very sharp. Practise it a lot so you don't need to think about what you should be doing next.

Make sure you are always producing SCV's and units unless you are paused to get 400 mins for an expansion.

Do not get supply blocked. Good idea would be to have 1 SCV devoted to depots. When he is idle it is a reminder to you to build another one.

Have 3-4 production buildings per expansion.

Upgrade you units when you can. In Bronze this can win you a game against players too focused on a 'big' army.

A good test would be to open a custom game and play normally, how long does it take you to max out your army, while expanding. (Do this against an easy AI) Lets say it takes you 25 mins, try it again and try to get there quicker. Then try to get to the same point while expanding/getting upgrades. This is an artificial scenario but it can show you where you should aim to be at a particular time in a game. In reality the other player will interrupt you but
