    Hi guys,

Just wondering what the cheapest option for TV in apartments in Dublin are at the moment? I see UPC's cheapest TV only package is €25.40 per month. Is there any other options? Do they still sell analogue? Can you get Sky in an apartment without a dish? I am not sure if I am allowed put up a dish, I will be finding out tomorrow though.

    Thanks for the help.

I dont think they still sell Analogue.

Check with Sky if your aptment complex has a Shared dish. If it does, gets sky.

Their basic digital subscription is cheaper than analogue anyway, as they've been trying to get everyone to upgrade to it.

Their website no longer seems to allow you to order analogue only or indeed Digital Value without a PVR. However, you might be able to get them to sell you them over the phone. IIRC Digital Value without a PVR is the same price (or even cheaper) than analogue only though.

You can't get Sky proper without a dish. However, your apartment complex might have communal Sky, which means there's one dish that serves the entire complex. If Sky via satellite isn't an option, they do offer an IPTV service called Sky Go, which you just need a good broadband service to access. I'd leave that as a last resort though, since the picture's prone to degrade if there's heavy network traffic, plus they only offer the channels actually branded as Sky and a handful of others like ESPN. Its also pretty much the same price as regular Sky which isn't great value for what's offered.
