I am looking to upgrade the RAM in my sisters laptop. It is currently running 512mb RAM with an Intel Centrino duo 1.66 processor (XP Home SP3). I have cheched the max RAM that I can upgrade is 2GB. There are 2 slots for ram in the laptop and I was wondering would I get better preformance from 2 x 1GB cards or from 1 X 2GB card.

I am gettig mixed reports from everything I have looked up so far.
