    hi Folks
I was in with Maplin today and they offered a package of a satellitE 60CM, quad lnb, 25 meter cable and humax free sat reciever A52jf for 360 euro.

Could you recommend a decent kit and set top box allowing recording live tv, series link, watching alternative stations etc. We recently went HD with Samsung ue 40d5520 which has an integrated Freeview HD tuner. will this tuner pick up the reception from 3 rock when it all goes digital or do I need a new aerlial for the TV to get terestial?

    Cheers

That tv is on the Saorview approved list, so you can watch any time you want now provided you have the correct aerial to receive a satisfactory signal at your location.

Also, +1 on the Humax receiver linked to above. For a dish, the Sky minidish type & their lnbs are available very cheaply & aren't the worst.

I went to TVtrade as well for the whole kit - collected it in Portarlington. Got two sets including one for my brother in law. No problems and the system is very good.
