VW Polo 2003 Hatchback - Broken Wing Mirror Glass & Housing

Came back to the car this evening with a nice suprise of a broken driver's side wing mirror.. side was clipped, so housing is cracked as is glass, so both will need to be replaced.

Presume the internal wiring is all in-tact as it's an electric mirror but it's a second hand car and that has never worked, so I'm not arsed in replacing the whole unit.

Will give a couple of dismantlers a call tomorrow and see if I can source a part?

Would this plus this do the job if I'm outta luck in my local scrap-yard?

Can take a photo when it's a bit brighter just to clarify.

You'll get a 2nd hand one of Ebay if the local scrapyard has nothing to suit, I reckon they will though.

    Ta RJ..

.. gonna give a few scrapyards a call tomorrow.

But EBay is coming up short bar buying one primed, and it needing a repaint etc.

Anyone know whether it's a tough job?
