A couple of mates and i went to an open day in rossmore golf club today , the person in the pro shop was a very nice and plesent person ,However when we got onto the course it was a different story ,people hitting up behind you, just getting off the greens and balls coming into it ,we let a 4 ball through because they knew were they were going and the were nice chap's ,after that it was a race ,plenty of blind shots and when your a visitor to a club that i have played before, except for the new holes your going to try to see were you have to go ,played ok but the noise of the people on the course was outrageous and to top it all off we were cut up by the same people in the car park who nearly crashed into us ,friendly start bad day after that ,should of went somewhere nice, will not return ,3 ball 3and a half hours on a mountainous course is not slow folks! when your playing on an open day .

have to agree their with this lad here i would have more time on speed dating than i would have on this course...... 3 times i nearly got hit on fairway from lads teeing off when i was still waiting to hit 2nd shot. Pro in shop was a gent but after that it was a disgrace.... every whore roaring on course no such thing as a quite chat here... no markers on side of fairways to see how fair your out all stuck in middle of fair way which i think is wrong.... then to cap it off hit 12th hole and sign said "A 3 ball should be here in 1hr 20 mins" yeah that would happen if i was on a hoinda 50 hitting space balls. Will go back to this club only to get my clubs re-gripped by the nice lad in shot as its a steal what he is doing them for other than that im straight past it :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

The current 12th hole used to be the 8th hole before they did a brief re-design about 18 months ago. I guess they left that sign out there.

Both of those posts could have the cure for cancer for all I know, but I'll never know because all they do is hurt my eyes.
