Hi just looking for some advice i have take up a solicitor on a no win no fee basis for my toddlers injury claim. He has informed me that it's a high court case and he will be given high compensation if he wins as of the plastic surgery and neglagance of the company. I am just looking to see what kind of fees the solicitor charges and if granted will the company being sued pay the legal costs?

Asking what the level of fees will be is akin to asking how long is a piece of string - depends on a myriad of factors and only your Solicitor would be able to give an accurate forecast in that respect. Given that it is a High Court action the fees will probably be substantial.

You'd better pray the other side pay the costs or you could be left seriously out of pocket , you are aware that although you may not have to pay your legal fees if unsucessful that there is every possibility you will have to pay the costs of the other side ?

It will almost invariably an insurance company at the other end.
