    Hi

Does anyone know of any couriers who would collect a package in the UK?

A seller is now concerned about the cost of shipping to Ireland and me paying him via Bank Transfer.

I have advised will pay extra.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

cost of postage to ireland shouldnt be any more than RMSD within the UK,

ive never paid extra for postage to ireland

also, transfermate are good for transfers over £1,000 to the uk and same day aswell ;)

He was offering RM Signed Delivered but I guess they wont insure to Ireland

He spoke to some couriers but would only insure to 1K

He is now thinking of pulling out of deal

There is Royal mail intl signed for, which is what is normally used. They wont insure for over £500, but most sellers will take the risk, if they dont and its not too expensive i take the risk on myself, ive never had an issue ....

Cheap day return and pick it up your self.

Agreed. I'm hoping to pick up the Speedmaster in a couple of weeks.

If the watch is of significant value then just as well to pick the watch up yourself with a cheap ryanair flight...otherwise put your trust in the regular postal service

Was this Watchfinder? Would have thought they'd experience of int'l shipping.

Yeah from WF. It was due back on 6th of this month. I had booked a weekend in London prior so I'm hoping it will be in London for the 28th. It will save me shipping and possibility of loss :D

Hoping to see The Avengers in IMAX 3D while I'm there :)
