    Changing from single LNB to a multi LNB. Currently have a single cable coming through the exterior wall but need to make room for 4.

    Just wondering what drill bit size you would recommend for a snug fit? I'm guessing some of you have done this plenty of times and might know off the top of your head.

    minimum drill bit diameter to fit 4 co-ax cables = 2 *{(sq root[r*r*2]) + r }
    where r = half diameter (radius) of single co-ax cable

    for example say coax cable diameter is 6mm
    2*{(sq root[3*3*2])+3} = 14.48mm

    Size 16mm will fit 3 cables in a bit tight but will go in...so anything from 18mm to 20mm and you will be sorted.
