    Hi Guys
    Quick Question
Redecorated my kid's bedroom last year and took UPC box off the wall and sniped the end of the wire off and pushed it up into the attic.
Now he wants it back on and can't find the UPC box and the cable has no connection on it. UPC fee is €50 but will they send me out one free if i ask them, and will an F Connector be OK for the end of the wire
    Many Thanks

PS Live in Bray area if anybody has 1 going spare

At the end of the UPC cable you should have a UPC branded box with two connections (FM and TV) This box also contains a safety isolator, in case for any reason the cable is live.

So NO you cannot just put a connector on the end. You need UPC's specific box.

An F connector is fine at the end, if you have the correct wall box. I don't think they will post you out a wall outlet box, do they mean a cable with an F connector on it?
