Anyone know if its possible to send in provisional application by post? it mentions on application form if not applying in person you can pay by cheque but theres no detail on where to send it to?
I'm asking on behalf of friend who passed driver theory test and wants to apply by post as out of country for few weeks with work as on their return the eye test will have expired (valid for 30days only)

Yeah, it can be done that way through your local authority - Google 'learner's permit Galway' or wherever you are you should get a local link. Not sure on cheques. Send it registered post and the turn around will probably be quicker.
