Rather than travelling to the big shmoke, we should have them city folk come to this side of the country :pac:

Limerick for example (don't worry lads ye won't get stabbed ;) )

So what say ye fair people of boards :)

I'm sure shammy will put ye all up :p

For me, Dublin is just about accessible. Limerick not so much

Cork might be a nice compromise though. I would fly for that because I'd get to see family/friends and obviously the fine local talent cork provides

Cork is actually a decent place to head out in, could make a proper night of it. I'm sure there are plenty of cheap hostels too.

Was really only taking the piss about having it in the west, where ever is cool for me :)

Didn't we have a vote and decide on Dublinia? :pac: That said, if it's in Cork I'll go, I'll even be able to walk home :D

Ah, that makes more sense, sure have it in Cork, I won't be able to put anyone up, but I'll be able to drink with ye without moving more than 3 miles :pac: The only problem with having beers outside Dublin is that the Dubs on most forums here have a tendency to make the plans then something pops up that weekend :pac: The fear of leaving the big Schmoke.

I understand most Dubs have never been outside it

Actually, some dubs will claim something popped up even if the drinks are in Dublin (you know who you are! ;))

If it's "down it country", people are forced to plan a little more, making it unlikely that they might cancel?

    Just a thought..

Lets be fair, a lot of them have been outside Dublin, but it was always to go foreign, never to go into the wilds of Ireland :pac: I do actually know a LOT of dubs who have never left the Pale, only going opposite side of the M50 to get to the airport.
