    Different from what?

There are loads of activity based things you can do, paintballing, archery, clay pigeon shooting, quad biking etc.

It's the bank holiday weekend so might be a bad weekend to do a stag abroad: flights would be very expensive

    What Sleepy said.

Give us something to go on here. What is the groom interested in?

Is he into music? Any festivals or gigs on in his genre of choice? Is he a gamer or into other nerdy stuff? If so, are there any conventions on? What sports is he into? Any of that sport on that weekend?

You could go to Alton Towers or somewhere.

Anyway, what made the stags my mates have had great wasn't the activities, it was having stuff like planned out list of dares and challenges, inventing stag party nicknames, and doing enough stupid stuff that there are in-jokes going for months if not years.

I went to Kippure Estate for mine, good craic and accommodation included.

The Cat Laughs comedy festival in Kilkenny could be an idea!
