Short Hop tickets - smartcard?

    I'm going to get the student short hop (Dart and bus) ticket for next month as it will work out better value than using the Travel 90 tickets.

    Does anyone know if it is a smartcard for both bus and Dart or is it still a mag stripe? thanks
