I failed 3rd year Arts a few years ago and decided to work instead of repeating. If I wanted to come back to NUI could I continue where I left off or do I need to start all over?

    Any thoughts?

A few years ago I heard something about this. I think you can only jump back in if you defer a year. I'm not certain, you'd have to talk to the admissions office or the dean of the faculty to find out for sure, not to people on the internet.

Honestly I heard about that almost 8 years ago, so my info could be out of date.

I think if you repeat, your mark is capped at 40%, so it probably would be best to start from scratch unless you just want the pass...
