Race on this Sunday in Nenagh that is a bit different. They have a website set up at www.visitnenagh.net/ and have a full day planned for families of riders also with food stalls, craft fairs and entertainment as well as a leisure spin. They are hoping people will bring their wife’s and kids. All races will finish in the town centre with full barriers which is unusual these days. For A1/2’s it’s a great build up for the Ras and for A3/4 they get chance to finish in a town centre with podium/band etc

I know most of the routes as I grew up in area and for the A4’s there is just one hill and the final 12 miles is on flat main road (old main Dublin to Limerick road that is now bypassed) so great for bunch riding, A3’s have an extra section that has a class hill in it, not steep but a few kms long and then a short steep one near the end. The A1/2’s have full on race with different hills and loops. Garmin format of routes on web site with projected times for each section for spectators/family/friends based on different speed click here and here. Neutral service will be available. €2500 price fund
