    hi all

I have an aerial and satellite shop also an asa no. for sky.

the only way to have and keep these chanells in your tv guide

you have to add on all the chanells be 4 you activate your viewing card

I've been doing this 4 a long time now .It works if you activate the card on a land line phone or have to call sky to do it.

try to get sky to re pair your card with the ch's added on b4 you call them..

    hope this helps out

I think it's txt spk for "before"...

Or maybe it's a new channel concept that's the opposite of the "+1" channels, where they show programmes before (b4) they're shown on the regular channel.

Might be better if they call it "-1" to avoid any confusion and keep things consistent.

Can I ask for a bit of clarification please ? Are you saying that you add the ITV's, CH4HD, CH5 etc to the "Other Channels" option on the Sky box, before you get Sky to activate the card, and then, when they do activate it, that 1, the channels you have added, appear on the Irish Epg and 2, even if you disconnect the box from the mains or have a power cut, the UK channels still remain on the Irish Epg, unlike what happens with the "card trick", when they all disappear from the Epg ? If this is correct, it is brilliant news, except, how do you get a card that is already active, activated again ?

yes to all your questions ,

I have being doing this for over 6 months and every time it works...

I have not tried it by getting sky to repair an active card so dont know if it works, but will try it tomorrow let you know.

other than that you could just tell sky that your card was lost or broken so as they then would have to send u out a new card then u can call them to activate your new card in your sky box with the ch's added on already..

    vola..
