    Hi

Sold the SMP and was in the process of buying 45mm PO Black and White

But....got an offer or 41mm Railmaster, both are basically the same price

Which do ya think is best...

I'd take the PO. It's a great watch and more versatile than the RM. The Railmaster is also very nice. There is a nice example of the RM on watchfinder.

    Take the PO.
for a start is worth much more than the railmaster and much more popular or dare I sell flippable.
As a wearer it is both smart and sporty. Personally I prefer the 42

Planet Ocean for me. As Sunny said, far easier to sell on should you tire of it.

    PO for me too.

I think the Railmaster falls between two stools and is ultimately just a very large mostly dress watch - the size doesn't fit the purpose. If you wanted that look in an Omega 'mostly dress but bit sporty' I'd go for an Aquaterra.

Is that a good thing or bad....think he wore the railmaster for a few episodes however you'll find he's wore his PO 45 on rubber for a number of series including the last one.

"This week we are going to tie a Ukrainian granny to a caravan and drag her over a cliff in this new state of the art garden cart whilst the Hamster tickles himself to death with a stray pube"

Have a guess if it's a good or bad thing.

Which watch is the babushka wearing? It's impossible to answer without this vital piece of information.

Some people have commented on the Railmaster as v large etc; that is the Railmaster XXL (now sadly discontinued) and not the one you are looking at. I greatly desire the 49.2mm XXL but can't find a god one. I have a PO XL which I wear on a tan croc strap similar to that on the XXL. The Railmaster you cite is basically a Seamaster Aqua Terra with a black dial. It d a very different size (smaller) than a 45.5mm PO and is much slimmer as well.

That's not the watch he's looking at; he mentioned 41mm (actually 41.5mm) which s a Railmaster branded AT.

I'm aware of that M. At that size I'd go for the Aqua Terra.
