    tried it liked it BUT!
No video even on you tube(can hear it but cannot see it)
no video on pre recorded videos on phone VERY laggy!
constantly using cache cleaner to avoid low memory error!
    thats just for basic apps!
adobe flash 11 is a monster!

Real pity as I was so looking forward to it!
looks like its back to cyanogen 7 for me!
or looks like I may have to invest in another phone even though i love me Desire!!!

Which version do you have? In the last few updates youtube has been working although it is occasionally choppy.

Did you install the inbuilt a2sd? I have about a hundred of apps installed and still have space.

Overall I'm very happy with how things are going. Only problem I have is that some games don't run perfectly due to multitouch driver issues. Other than that, very good for a beta!

    Definitely install a2sd.

Open the terminal app (I'm pretty sure it's installed with the rom, but if not find it on the market).

Type su then enter (and accept superuser request)

Then type a2sd install then enter.

Say yes to everything except moving appsdata, unless you have a really really fast sd card.

Then reboot your phone. You should now be able to install a lot more apps. :)

I have 0.5.3 installed, so perhaps they have broken youtube again in the lastest build.

i am typing yes but no option for everything except "moving appsdata"
what i have is copy files and set attributes
    -c
    -d
    -D
    -s
    etc
    etc
    then there is user
    grp and
    mode lastly!
    confused

Oops, I forgot to ask if you have an ext3/4 partition on your sd card? If not:

Backup all data on your sd card as you are about to format it!
Reboot into recovery, choose advanced >Partition SD Card
Choose Ext size of 512M or higher and Swap of 0M
    Reboot

Than install a2sd as I mentioned previously
