Boiler not firing

Hi all. Ran out of oil and refilled but can't fire up boiler. Have cleaned photocell and electrodes and all fine. Noticed that my Tiger Loop had a very low level of oil in it when attempting to fire and between attempts completely emptied. I took off the pipe from the tiger loop to the pump and there is no oil coming out of the tiger loop. There is a non-return valve (I think) just before the tiger loop. I opened the bleed screw and got some air and oil bubbling out but then it just stopped. The burner turns over and then I hear the click but no attempt to fire.
Sorry for the non technical language. I hope you can understand what I am trying to say.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Little confusing, pictures would of helped, your using a tiger loop so your likely raising oil from a tank lower than the burner, in that case you wont bleed the oil line opening the line, you will need to use the burner pump in order to pull oil through, you may need to reset the burner numerous times before you get the oil to the burner depending on the lenght of the run, give that a try.

In order to bleed in conjunction with a tiger loop, you must loosen the bleed screw/bolt at the burner, press the reset button and then tigthen once burner fires. You may have to do this a couple of times to draw the fuel through. If not within 3-4 times, then there maybe another issue. Don't keep trying to run the pump without fuel in it. They generally will fire up on the 2nd attempt.
