Hey! My name is Fiona Hyde, and I am co-editor of Siren magazine, a gender equality focused publication that launched this year in Trinity for Intl Women's Day. I hope that some of you were able to see or get or read a copy of the magazine around campus - they were distributed to the Hamilton, the Arts Block, House 6 and the Long Room Hub building.

Anyway, I'm here to be a shill. If you did in fact read and like Siren, then we'd really, really appreciate it if you could take the time to vote for us for the Smedia People's Choice Award. The link to vote is here: http://www.oxygen.ie/smedias_2012_people_s_choice_award.PAGE4124.html

We're up against big newspapers with large readerships so your support would be extra special to us. If you didn't get a chance to see Siren in the flesh, you can order a copy from sirensubmissions@gmail.com or read it online on our Issuu (a link to which is on the Smedias site, above).

    Thank you so much!

    Fiona
