Cube let down!

I have had a cube agree gtc on order for months (ordered in jan) using the b2w scheme. The store I ordered it from after me hassling for a delivery date have told me unfortunately cube have told them they have no more carbon bikes for 2012.
I'm annoyed I've waited but I'll have to get over it.

My only problem is the b2w has been processed and the bike shop has been paid so I have been offered two options so far.

A giant or a fuji, can anyone tell me what the qui alert to the agree gtc would be from these two manufacturers?
I wanted the agree due to the level of equipment for the price and I think I'm going to lose out now!

    Any ideas?

Request a refund and go elsewhere with a better choice. Thats what I did, order a bike on the B2W scheme, took ages, finally got the bike but was not as sold to me. They offered me replacements which I refused as there was no value in them for me, and had the original bike not been available from that shop I would never have placed by business with them.

I then ordered a canyon with the refund (which was not an approved retailer originally with the B2W) so worked out well.

That's a lovely bike. I'm not sure there's anything directly comparable from Giant.

IMO the bike shop needs to dig deep on this one. They should return the money immediately or offer a higher spec bike.

    Which shop is it?

Cyclebike in town, to be fair delay aside they have been good to deal with and from what I have read Cube have screwed a lot of their distributor about with 2012 bikes.

Ill wait and see what bike I get offered as a replacement and see where I go from there.

Regarding a refund on the B2W did you get it as cash? If that was the case Id probably go for a Canyon

There has been plenty of the GTC SL models available . What size did you order and when was it ordered? Only recently have the stock numbers been reduced.

I think the bike shop is not being entirely honest with you.

Ordered in a 56. IF you know somewhere that has stock of the bike can you please pm me.
I can only go by what the store has told me , that they havent received any Cube road bikes, they have aluminium frames on back order and wont be getting any Carbon frames full stop from Cube.

Im absolutely gutted about it tbh, I had set my heart on that bike, I just wish I had found out sooner rather than wait and wait!

I know where the is a 53 and 58 in stock but not the 56 ( probably the popular size) . The 53 is about 15mm shorter and the 58 is about 15mm longer than the 56cms bike on the top tube . If you really wanted the bike you might have to make a bit of a compromise.

Its a real nice looking bike too.

I was going to post up a rose by any other name would smell as sweet etc, but that cube really is nice! Nice spec too for the price you were getting. When you say 2100, is that AFTER your btw discount?

If the bike shop is any use then they should be going out of their way to sort you out. If they do, then you should hopefully find something tasty from another manufacturer. New Giant TCR's are nice, and I would've thought... would be a slightly better bike throughout the range than the Cubes pound for pound. Giant design, whereas Cube buy in. -Cube seem to counter this with generous spec's though, and they do make some tasty looking machines.

It was eurocycles and they refused to refund so took them to court and got a refund by cheque.

Contacted the store so the ball is in their court now. Hopefully they will look after me and I'll be able to post up a positive update
