Was just pulling out f my driveway and my Leon just died, have just got the alternator fixed... it was fine yesterday when I was driving it.

The Battery light is on now but that was also replaced recently

Dunno what to do any suggestions would be great, also anybody in the general Galway area recommend a garage to bring it to.

All suggestions and feedback would be great.

Would appear to be another issue with the alternator.
If you just got it fixed I'd suggest contacting whoever fixed it.

The battery light will be on until the engine starts anyway.

Is the engine turning over but not starting or does nothing happen at all when your turn the key?

Try replacing relay 109, they were known for not being good on the early leons, mine burnt out after the NCT guys reveed the nuts out of it, possible the new alternator has fried it, the old ones were black the new ones are a clear/white plastic, its located under the steering wheel a few screws and the panel drops down

    Its a 1.9 TDI 110hp

The relay? would that cause the car to just randomly die?

I charged the battery the other night put it back in was working fine the whole next day, then went to start it in the morning and it was dead would barley turn over.

Gonna have to bring it some where.:(

Presumably the first battery died for you to need a new one but did you check the charging system before wasting money on a new battery.

At the risk of stating the obvious, is your battery dieing? How old is it?

If it is not the battery, it is likely the repair to the alternator wasn't quite successful as RJ said :D
