    Hi All

A work mate with me has a basic Sky subscription, cartoon channels for the kids, the problem is he cannot view any of the Irish channels, when he presses for RTE etc it says they are not available, he was onto Sky and was told they would do something for him but to date he is unable to access the Irish channels on his Sky box. Can anyone here give me any guide as to what the problem could be BBC is where it should be on channel 141 so he must have an Irish card, any help appreciated.

Get him to ring Sky again & tell them he's in the ROI,they'll send a signal to the box and switch the card on properly.Make sure he leaves the box plugged in overnight as sometimes it can take 24 hours to be enabled.
