I am not sure if the cat at dog will make their way down!

I should make this. If anyone has any questions I can ask please let me know here:

    Some restrictions
    1) Please don't ask general questions on how do I get Saorview etc. These can be answered on boards.ie

    2) Please don't ask questions RTENL cannot answer in public as a date has not been set such as when will the second mux operate

    3) Please don't ask installers/use of logo qns as they have seperate meetings for installers.

I would be more interested in specific qn's RTENL would be able to answer the public, that have not been asked.

    Questions

    1. 4 more transmission sites are being upgraded for Saorview, what date in Oct will they go live and are there any future plans for other sites to be converted for DTT?

    2. Regarding the NI mini-mux, has Arqiva won the contract and when are test transmissions expected to start? The expected on-air date for the mini-mux?

    1) Is Saorsat now considered to be 'live' or still in 'testing mode' (IOW is the current output level/FEC fixed?)

    2) Do they have any expectation of TG4 joining Saorsat?

    3) When do they expect to implement 'Series Link' on Saorview?

    4) Long shot Q: Who originally dreamt up Saorsat - RTÉNL or Eutelsat?

    Further question

    1. Have they started testing series-link?

At a RTENL saorview presentation, it was mentioned that original suggestion to RTENL came from a satellite broadband provider.
