Samsung rf 711 laptop damage

    Hi guys,

    I have a bit of a concern. I was trying to open the lid of my New laptop tonight and stupidly enough on my behalf I tried opening it with one hand and as I tried to lift the lid up which was quiet stiff, the laptop lifted up with my hand movement and slipped off my hand and the base of it hit the table hard. The machine which is a Samsung rf711 is not damaged but I can hear a slight little puffing noise/coming outt of the processor or hard disk not quiet sure exactly and I'm not sure if it was there before or not? The noise is so slight that you would only hear it when the room is silent. Sounds like a hardisk click followed by a low puffing nose which lasts appox 2 seconds. It's making me paronid and that's why I ask here to see if my laptop is damaged or not? It seems to be working fine but that noise is annoying big time. Does anyone know anything here?
