    Hello every1 , I know this is a weird and strange thread to put up but I'm desperate, I lost my job last year, my partner of 5 years has left me with our 18 month old daughter who I ever get to see now, I cannot afford rent in the house anymore, don't have a car as shared hers all the time and I live far outside a town, all my friends are in different countries an all my family live far away, I feel completely isolated and alone, constantly have suicidal thoughts, I know it's selfish and I am ashamed but I can't help it, I have lost everything and all I want now is a peaceful death

    I don't know anything that I can say that might make you feel any better. But please, please, do not do anything that will cause harm to yourself.

    Please contact your family. Just one person who you feel you could open up to. Contact the Samaritans. Contact your GP. Contact lifeline. There are so many people who could Help you. Right now things are probably looking hopeless for you, but with some help and support you could really start to feel better.

    I know this post has not been very helpful but I am trying just to help you see that you can do this with some help.

    Hi Darragh - I am very sorry and while I would love to allow your thread to remain open to allow people a chance to post none of us here are qualified to help you.

    All we are permitted to do is to encourage you to go to your GP / A&E and to refer to the links on our Charter.
