Is it worth switching from Stamps to Dole?

I am currently drawing my stamps or Jobseeker's Benefit (getting bits and pieces of work). I am getting married later in the year. My stamps will run out before then. However I am now thinking I would be better getting Jobseeker's Allowance (dole) now until I get married. I know I have to be assessed but I would get it. Whereas when I marry my wife's wage will be taken into account and I would likely not receive any Jobseeker's Allowance. Is it wise to save my stamps until we're married and at least have something to fall back on when things get tight. I know it would only be for a some months but it would be something.

    Thanks in advance

Don't think you can do that.

If you are currently living together as a couple her earnings will be assessed as means for jsa.
