    Hi,

I have a laptop and an iphone.

I got a gift of an ipod.

I downloaded tunes from my laptop to the ipod and gave it to a friend.

The friend now wants to add more music so I'd like them to be able to keep the music on the ipod, but also connect to their own laptop and set up their own itunes account.

What's the best way to do this?

If they link the ipod and their laptop would it disable my itunes??

You can get a program that will copy whatever music is on the iPod now onto your friends computer. Then they would just need to erase the iPod and set it up as a new one and copy all the music back on to it. I can't remember what the name of the program is, but just google it and you'll find it.
