Help me find an e46

Not for me but a friend. He's looking for a 318/320 coupe for ideally the 3500 mark or below.

There seems tobe a lot of ropey ones around and not many over on bmw-driver.net

Anybody spot any with potential?

Poor interior, but you can always keep an eye out for a replacement, other wise looks good.

I reckon the above looks like a good option. If going for the 6 cylinder, the 325 is only E90 than the 320 for tax and you get extra 25bhp. Also alot less goes wrong with the 6 cylinders and they are a FAR nicer drive. That car has been up for a while, so reckon a deal could be done. Get any car checked though...

Hate the spoiler but looks nice, the lack of a fresh NCT would be a worry.

@166man - The NCT is still valid for 11 months, but the car was tested 13 months ago. A lot could have happened since then

A fresh NCT means the car has recently been found roadworthy, good emissions, etc.

Maybe a bit picky, but I'm with Alan on this one. Plenty of fish in the sea at the moment - buyers market!

Ah now I getcha, thought Alan was looking at a car with only a few months NCT left. Same could be said for many car's on the bangernomics thread too though!

NCT would mean NOTHING to me, Id be getting any bmw checked by a bmw specialist, who would know all the weak points of every specific model and have a far greater knowledge than an NCT tester. After the endless amounts of revelations on the nct, i wouldnt give it too much consideration. Also that lip spoiler can be taken off, i personally find it much better looking with it on rather than off...
