Ok so OH has been granted €58 a week JA based on my wages of €453.
The thing is I start mat leave Friday and will only be getting €262.
Do we just contact sw and inform them so they can reasses his claim or what happens.

Yes contact sw for them to review his claim while you are on mat leave. Will you be getting paid by your employer while on mat leave or only from sw? When your mat leave finishes and you resume work his jsa should also increase as he will be able to claim for a child dependant allowance of €29.80.

Btw the figure of €58 seems incorrect on your earning of €453... are those earnings gross or net and is there means from some other source. Do you work 5 days per week?

Plus you might be better off claiming family income supplement when baby arrives.

Yes work 5 days and get FIS of €38. The 453 is my take home.
I won't be receiving anything while on mat leave from work.

You are already in receipt of FIS so I presume you have one child that is why your spouses JSA is lower than what I thought it should be. Get hubby to get his claim reviewed while you are on Mat leave.
