    Sorry if this is in the wrong forum as I can't find the appropriate one,
    Is anybody else having problems logging into their gmail This evening ??
    I keep getting Temporary error 500 everytime I try to login.

    google apps mail is working fine
    gmail is giving me the 500 error just now when i try it

    i was able to login just now by going to http://mail.google.com - i was getting 500 when a posted a few mins ago when i was trying via www.gmail.com

    im not sure if this is conincidence or a workaround that might help you

    if different browser doesnt help its most likely a transient issue and will be fixed temporarily. check out the google apps status dashboard for current issues if it happens again

    Sometimes it can be worth resetting your browser / deleting cookies. It's possible the server's having some kind of hiccup, but sometimes logging in again with a fresh cookie helps!

    I tend to use it via an IMAP client anyway and that seems to have been working fine.
