Seolta ó m'iPhone / m'iPad. I call my iPhone iFón, though I suppose the best translation would be eFón considering i means information and that is eolas as Gaeilge.

anyone any idea how iPad could be translated?

I think it's safe to leave iPhone and iPad as they are, seeing as they're the names of specific trademarked products.

I think he might have meant 'How can I say: Sent from my iPhone/iPad, etc, in Irish'

Pesky puncation marks, their misuse really makes the intended meaning of a scentence impossible to understand, does'nt it?
